 Each
year contractors across the state of Florida are invited to compete
for the prestigious Florida West Coast Remodeling Awards (FWCRA)
in recognition of their achievements. Companies – from one-person
shops to the largest remodeling firms - compete in over 25 categories
from small bathroom remodels to large whole house renovations.
A FWCRA binder is submitted for each project to be considered
which contains before and after floor plans and photography and
a brief project description detailing all aspects of the job.
Background is provided on the client’s needs and wants and
how they were solved. Special problems that were encountered or
features/designs unique to the project are explained.
Winners are selected by an impartial panel of judges from within the industry and associated fields. The evaluation process is done without revealing company names or project locations. All entries are judged on functionality, problem solving, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty and entry presentation. All winners are recognized and honored at the annual Florida West Coast Remodeling Awards Evening of Excellence.
